Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has released the official notification for Class 9th and 11th Lateral Entry Admission 2027-28 Eligible Students who are Studying in Class 10th during the academic session 2026-27 can apply online for admission to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas through the prescribed selection process. The online application process for NVS Class 9th and 11th Admission 2027 has started on 02 September 2026 and eligible candidates can submit their application form up to 30 September 2026. The admission will be made against available vacant seats in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas.

NVS Class 9th and 11th Admission 2026 : Age Limit
- Class 9th Candidates date of birth 01 May 2012 and 31 July 2014
- Class 11th Candidates date of birth 01 June 2010 and 31 July 2012
- NVS Provides age relaxation for the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti position as per their regulations.
NVS Class 9th and 11th Admission 2027 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill the eligibility conditions prescribed by NVS.
Class 9th admission, students studying in Class 8th during the prescribed acadenic session can apply,subject to NVS age, school and other eligibility conditions.
Class 11th admission the candidates should be Studying in Class 10th During the academic session 2026-27 in a Government or Government-recognized school. The Candidate should also be a bona fide resident for the district where the concerned Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is located, and the applicable school/district conditict mentioned by NVS must be fulfilled.
